Heart and Soul Church
Heart and Soul Church – Fishers, IN – Heart and Soul is a growing fellowship of Believers in the town of Fishers, north-east of Indianapolis. With fresh leadership taking over in 2022, they commissioned Arc Three to design an expansion of their current building to make their welcome and hospitality spaces much more inviting and comfortable. The design is fairly simple, yet beautiful in its paying homage to the past, yet maintaining a relevant design aesthetic for today. A cruciform shaped roof flies high over the main lobby space as lower ceilings define program spaces below them. The plan for the inside is just as apparent outside as those lower programmatic volumes are clad in a linear brick, while the higher spaces are filled with glass to maximize daylight in the space.
